HAMILTON STAYING WITH FERRARI UNTIL 2027 AS PER REPORTS

Lewis Hamilton is set to continue with Ferrari until at least the end of the 2027 season, according to reports from AutoRacer.it.

The report says that the contract option to extend his stay has been activated and that all the key parts of the agreement were already settled when Hamilton signed his original deal in 2024 after leaving Mercedes.

What made the extension possible is his performance during the first part of the current season. Hamilton is reported to be sitting in third place in the championship and ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc in the internal standings, which has strengthened Ferrari’s confidence in continuing the partnership.

The contract situation is described as straightforward, with very few conditions left to block the deal. The only scenario mentioned where the extension would not happen is if Hamilton himself chose to retire or leave the team, which reports describe as extremely unlikely at this stage.

The announcement of the extension is expected to be made at Monza during the Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari’s home race at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. This would make the moment especially significant for both the team and the fans, as Monza is one of the most important events on the Formula 1 calendar in Formula 1.
