SCOTT DIXON ENDS 24-YEAR GANASSI ERA AFTER RECORD-BREAKING CAREER

Scott Dixon will leave Chip Ganassi Racing at the end of the 2026 IndyCar Series season, ending one of the most successful driver-team partnerships in modern motorsport.

Dixon has spent 24 seasons with Chip Ganassi Racing, building a long career defined by consistency, race wins, and championship success. During this time, he won six IndyCar championships, placing him among the most successful drivers in the history of the series. His ability to perform across different eras of cars, regulations, and competition levels has been a key part of his legacy.

The partnership between Dixon and Ganassi is widely considered one of the strongest in IndyCar history. Over more than two decades, they have achieved numerous race victories, title fights, and strong seasons, making them a constant presence at the front of the field.

With his departure now confirmed for the end of 2026, attention is turning to what comes next. Reports and rumours suggest that Dixon could move to McLaren for the 2027 season, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.

His exit closes a historic chapter in IndyCar, ending a partnership that shaped a large part of modern racing history and defined an era of success for both driver and team.
