ARROW MCLAREN CONFIRMS MAJOR DRIVER SHAKE-UP FOR 2027
Arrow McLaren is set for a major change to its IndyCar line-up from the 2027 season. The team will welcome Scott Dixon and Felix Rosenqvist, bringing together two experienced race winners as it looks to strengthen its fight at the front of the championship.
The biggest surprise is the departure of Christian Lundgaard. After several impressive seasons with the team, including a strong title challenge against Alex Palou, the Danish driver and Arrow McLaren have decided to part ways. Lundgaard established himself as one of the series’ top talents during his time with the team, making his exit one of the biggest driver market stories ahead of 2027.
Nolan Siegel will also leave Arrow McLaren alongside Lundgaard. The young American joined the team with high expectations and gained valuable experience, but both sides will now move in different directions as the organization reshapes its future.
Scott Dixon’s arrival brings one of the most successful drivers in IndyCar history to Arrow McLaren. The move of the multiple-time series champion joins the likes of Lewis Hamilton going to Ferrari in Formula 1. Felix Rosenqvist also returns to Arrow McLaren, having previously raced for the team before moving to Meyer Shank, giving the team a driver already familiar with its environment.
With Dixon and Rosenqvist joining, and Lundgaard and Siegel departing, Arrow McLaren is making one of the biggest driver changes ahead of the 2027 IndyCar season. The new line-up signals the team’s intention to build a strong challenge as it looks to compete for race wins and the championship.
